New prototype: a vibrant and iridescent floral topper Should this make its way to the shop when I reopen?

I’ve been working on making eyeshadows. Put these two palettes together for some friends. I’d love to start making them available this year, but formulation has proven to be tricky. I’m thinking some matching nail polish and eyeshadow bundles could be fun.

Sneak peek: ROTHKO INSPIRED Thermal + Solar protoypes A while back I shared some early stage prototypes for a potential Rothko collection. There was a blend of vibrant and moody shades. However my favorite time of year to wear thermals and solars is in the spring/summer here in New England. I researched Rothko and used inspiration from his more vibrant color field paintings and landed on a rainbow palette. The paintings have various colors layered with transparent oil paints and have a lit from within subtle glow to them that almost makes the colors appear to vibrate. I decided to go with similar tones of colors for the polishes and they deepen when exposed to UV light. They have just a hint of matching shimmer and are more crelly leaning in opacity. These work beautifully layering over each other when creating nail art. My hopes is people will be inspired to make their own color field nail art. It honestly doesn’t take much skill other than painting stripes on your nails and letting the colors overlap slightly. More details to come as I finalize the collection. Would you wear these?
