ORDER FULFILLMENT
Pre-Order Processing time: Orders ship within 4-6 weeks*.
In-Stock Processing time: Orders ship within 1-2 weeks*.
Orders containing both in-stock & pre-order items will adhere to the pre-order processing fulfillment window.
*During new collection launches, time frames may be extended due to high demand. Any updates will be communicated via social media & email.
I try my best to fulfill pre-order items sooner when possible as time allows. I am a small business and operate things myself while also still juggling a corporate 9-5 job like many other small indie makers.
SHIPPING
Shipping available in the United States only at this time. Shipping to additional countries may be available in the future.
Packages are sent via USPS Ground shipping.
Buyer is responsible for ensuring accurate shipping address is indicated at time of placing order. Please notify us within 24 hours of placing order if address needs to be adjusted. We are able to adjust the shipping address if the order has not yet been marked as fulfilled. Please email order # & details to customer service. I try my best to reach out and confirm shipping details if an issue is indicated by USPS. Delays in response to contact may result in longer fulfillment windows based on product availability.
If you experience delays with your shipment from USPS, I recommend signing up for the emails and text notifications to track the progress of your delivery through USPS’s website. Some processing centers may experience delays due to weather related conditions or other factors, but tracking progress should update within a few business days.
If you experience delays of 15 days or more from the date the package was handed off to USPS, the buyer may file a claim directly with USPS. USPS shipments are insured by default for up to $100. Orders over $100 have additional insurance purchased on the buyer’s behalf for the cost of goods purchased plus shipping costs. Details on coverage can be provided on request. Seller is unable to process replacement orders at no cost for missing packages with USPS. If items are listed as out of stock at the time of request for a new order please email me and I will try my best to make a custom order to get your desired items should all materials still be available.
SALES TAX
Since we are a new, small business sales taxes will not apply to purchases & events at this time for the majority of the United States, excluding Massachusetts. MA 6.25% sales tax will apply based on customer address.
RETURNS
All sales are final. If products arrive damaged from shipment, please email photos, order #, & details to customer service.
CANCELING ORDERS
Canceled orders may be accommodated within 24 hours from time of order being placed if it has not yet been marked as fulfilled. Please email order # & request to customer service.
Canceled orders will be refunded less a 5% processing fee.

ABOUT OUR FORMULATION
A nail polish formulation that is free from 21 chemicals that may have the potential to be harmful and are banned in some countries for cosmetic use.
Not all chemicals are bad. However, some can be irritants, impact allergies, or even stain your nails. According to Harvard Health Publishing, studies have shown that chemicals in nail polish can be absorbed into the body, there is not strong research data as to the exact health effects from concentration levels present in traditional nail polish.
We are mindful about the ingredients we use and want to provide a formula that is inclusive, especially for those prone to skin allergies.
WHAT IS 21-FREE?
Please review ingredients thoroughly on each product page. Below lists differences in base formulas for our Nail Polish, Quick Dry Top Coat, Scented Quick Dry Top Coat, and Tinted Base Coats. Formulation varies and not all are 21-free.

Not all GID pigments glow with the same intensity & for the same length of time.
The intensity is based on the wavelength the color gives off.Yellow, green, white, aqua: glow the brightest and longest
Red, orange, pink, blue, violet, purple: less bright and shorter glow time as they are on the ends of the visible color spectrum
Particle size of the pigment can also impact the glow. A finer pigment will result in a less grainy glow; however it may not glow as bright compared to a larger particle size. Would you rather have a smoother glow or a brighter glow? Use of other pigments in tandem, such as shimmers and glitters, can also make the glow look more grainy or speckled.
Light source used to “charge” GID pigments glow also impacts strength. Using UV/LED light will result in a stronger glow than incandescent lighting and sunlight, especially for colors on the end of the color spectrum.

I daydream about color & sparkles, & am easily distracted by shiny things.
I’ve always had a passion for art in all its forms & have a background in painting, graphic design, web development, & art history.
When I discovered the world of indie cosmetics I got hooked. I was so inspired to make my own creations, mixing & matching colors to create unique nail polish & eyeshadows.
I started making my own polishes & eyeshadows in 2023. In the summer of 2024, I knew I wanted to turn my hobby into a small business. Thus, in September 2024 I launched Fauve Cosmetics. Fauvism is my favorite art movement & got inspiration to name the brand & aesthetics based on it.
For now, I operate Fauve on mostly nights & weekends while juggling my 9-5 corporate job, mommy & family duties, all while dreaming for success to make this my full time job in the future 🤞🤞 Let’s just say its been lots of sleepless nights & the laundry is stacking up 😖 but I’ve never felt so creative & fulfilled with my work.
I’m a one-woman shop handling it all. From product creation, design, marketing, shipping/fulfillment, web development, & so much more. There’s been so much support in the nail polish community with amazing content creators swatching & photographing my polishes to showcase on my site. 🫶
I hand mix polishes in small batches. I do pre-orders for most items to ensure less waste & be smart with the limited materials I have available on hand. I also don’t have a light hand with ingredients. I love extra flashy finishes so my formulas are vibrant & use lots of pigments/effects to stand out & bring joy.
